Things are heating up
It is said that Trump has forcibly stated that he wants other NATO members to step up and reach a 2% spending target, and it appears that his threat to withdraw is working some magic as NATO leaders now adjourn to an emergency session - likely to discuss the matter.
Update: Reuters is now reporting that Trump did not threaten to pull out of NATO.
