This according to maritime executives

the New York Times is reporting that China state controlled companies have canceled some US farm shipments. This is according to maritime executives. Included among the cancellations are 23 cargoes of soybeans as tensions rise between Washington and Beijing.

A senior Chinese shipping executive involved in China form imports said:

  • a handful of shipments of livestock feed, corn, pork, cotton and some meat imports are pushed back

The US stocks remain elevated with the Dow industrial average trading at new session highs at 26205.32, up 1.79%. The S&P index is trading up 38.6 points or 1.25% and is also at session highs. The NASDAQ index trades up 72 points or 0.75% at 9680.38. It's high price came in at 9684.62.
