The first GlobalDairyTrade (GDT) auction for 2016 is today during London time
The last two auctions for 2015 resulted in small gains in dairy prices, the index up 1.9% at the final 2015 event:
A small gain is the expectation for tonight as dry weather is contributing to a drop in production volumes.
A gain should be a positive for the NZD, although it is hostage to bigger global cross currents so far this week.
