liquidity is much better today than it was over the holiday period but it will take a few days to get fully back to normal.
Why?
Because traders have a natural aversion to taking big risks early in the year with no cushion to fall back on. The last thing you want to do is dig a big hole to start the year that you have to trade your way out of. It will take a few days before traders get their schwerve back.
