Last scheduled meeting did not work so well
The US congressional democratic leaders Pelosi and Schumer have accepted the WH offer to meet with Trump and the Republican leaders on Thursday. The government is expected to run out of funds on December 8th and new funding bill needs to be passed. It requires a 60 vote majority in the Senate, which means it need bi-partisan support. Republicans own a 52 to 48 seat majority but needs more votes to pass. Otherwise the government will be forced to shut down.
