Closing changes for the main European bourses:
- UK FTSE - flat
- German DAX - flat
- French CAC -0.5%
- Spain IBEX -1.1%
- Italy MIB -0.7%
The volatility in major markets has dropped right off in the past week or so. On net, that's a good sign for risk assets. It could just be markets hunkering down ahead of the ECB, Fed and BOJ decisions later this month but I think it's an early sign of better risk appetite.
