EU trying to find a way to continue to trade with Iran
European countries don't want to leave the Iran nuclear deal but they also don't want their companies facing US sanctions.
The EU is considering a plan to create a special purpose vehicle to facilitate Iran trade and the US isn't happy. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo called it the most counter-productive measure imaginable.
The sanctions go into effect Nov 4 so we'll be hearing a lot about this beforehand.
