As part of its privatization, Portugal is selling a stake in EDP to China Three Gorges, Bloomberg reports.
The stake is worth EUR 2.7 bln. My guess is that China has plenty of euros on board and the transaction will not move the currency markets. It bears watching if many more deals like this unfold.
