President Trump to speak at 3 PM ET/2000 GMT.

Back from his trip to the Far East

Pres. Trump, back from his 12 day trip to the Far East, will make an "announcement" at 3 PM ET/2000 GMT.

The White House official says the President is likely to speak on trade, North Korea and possibly GOP state candidate Ron Moore (which is getting more and more troublesome for the Republicans who cling to a small majority in the Senate).

Moore is the Republican Nominee for the special election in Alabama to fill the seat vacated by Jeff Sessions. He is being accused of pursuing teenage girls when he was an assistant district attorney in his 30s. He denies the allegations but the Republicans are not anxious to wait around for due process to play out. They want him to step aside NOW.
