A CNBC report says Trump is open to delaying the tariffs.
Update: The report was from Kayla Tausche:
- USTR planning notice in Federal Register w/ tariff details "soon"
- Sr admin official tells me expectation is tariff will apply to goods that arrive in US on Sept 1
- SAO says POTUS willing to shelve if China takes positive action
- "The China talks did not go well enough"
I don't think this is really that new, similar reports were out there yesterday.
