USD/JPY is more or less unchanged from yesterday morning but the USD has lost ground everywhere else. As Jamie mentioned below, the EUR/USD has technically posted a very strong close, above previous highs and above the down trendline. Many had expected a period of consolidation and perhaps even a pullback below 1.2400 but that is now looking more unlikely. It looks like the summer of EUR short covering is to continue.
