SNB’s Hildebrand Says Not Candidate For Head Of IMF

BERNE (MNI) – The Swiss National Bank said Friday that Philipp
Hildebrand, chairman of the central bank’s governing board, “does not
consider himself a candidate for the position of managing director of
the International Monetary Fund.”

Hildebrand “remains deeply committed to fulfill his duties and
responsibilities at the Swiss National Bank,” the SNB said in a press
release.
