Spains’ Economy Minister Pedro Solbes, in an interview to run in Thursdays Handelsblatt, says the euro zone is not yet ready for a joint bond, but that states in the 16 member currency area could coordinate their debt issuance more closely.
The official says Spain’s budget deficit this year will be more than 5.5% of GDP.
