-300 for the Dow-watchers out there
It's really kicking off with 10 minutes left until the open. S&P 500 futures have skidded lower again and the index is down 35 points to 2848, a 1.1% decline.
The index rose 37 points yesterday in a bounce following the rout on Friday.
Emerging market currencies are starting to come under some heavy pressure. USD/ZAR has jumped above 15 to the highest since June.
