Nasdaq after trading lower all day, closes unchanged

The major US stock indices are ending the day with gains (of varying amounts). The S&P is the only one to make a record close. It rose by 0.12% on the day.

• S&P index closed up 3.02 points or 0.12% at 2510.06. The high reached 2510.81. The low traded 2502.93
• The NASDAQ composite closed unchanged from yesterday's low at 6453.45. The high reached 6456.227. The low extended to 6427.656.
• The Dow rose 40.49 points or 0.18% to 22381.20. The high extended to 22394.74. The low reached 22288.97.

In the small cap market, the Russell 2000, a record level.
