Yesterday was a wild day in the stock market. A sizeable gain evaporated to nothing then with 30 minutes left in trading the market turned around and closed up 0.8%. I blame the lunar eclipse yesterday for all the madness.
In any case, the momentum is set to continued after solid earnings from Coca-Cola and Johnson & Johnson. S&P 500 futures are 3 points higher.
The index closed at 1830 on Monday. Watch Friday’s high of 1835 as the first area of resistance.
