Latest data released by SECO - 3 May 2019

The reading measures the level of consumer confidence in economic activity. A level above zero indicates optimism; below indicates pessimism. Following a bit of a rebound since the end of last year, consumer confidence is starting to dip again and that's reflective of the global economic situation as well as waning domestic conditions in Switzerland.

It's not a release that will impact the swissie but feeds into overall sentiment that the Swiss economy isn't robust and is a worrying point for the SNB if it considers to normalise monetary policy in the near future.
