AUD/USD up 15 pips on the day
The Australian dollar isn't ready to wave the white flag yet. AUD/USD is up 15 pips in Asia-Pacific trading to 0.7075.
The gains came after a handful of tests of 0.7056 held.
In the bigger picture, the October low of 0.7041 has also held repeatedly and that's the lowest since early 2016.
A warning: Asia-Pacific trading hasn't been a good barometer of what's to come the rest of the day so I wouldn't put much stock in this bounce.
