Randolph Allies is being removed

CNN reports that Trump has asked his Chief of Staff to fire Randolph Allies as director of the Secret Service.

This comes after Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen was forced out on the weekend. Alles reports to Nielsen.

"There is a near-systematic purge happening at the nation's second-largest national security agency," one senior administration official told CNN.

The report also says that "United States Citizenship and Immigration Services director Francis Cissna and Office of the General Counsel's John Mitnick are expected to be gone soon."

This isn't a story for markets at the moment but Trump may be shifting to a more hawkish stance on immigration and it could lead to worries about Mexican growth. CNN is also framing this as a move by hardliner Stephen Miller, who introduced Trump's travel ban and was instrumental in firing Comey.
