Appetite for independence wanes in Scotland
What's a bigger deal? How strong and stable the UK government is as it negotiates a Brexit, or whether the United Kingdom can stay united?
I'd argue the latter.
So while the election added political uncertainty and that might mean Britain gets a worse deal or is forced into another election, it wasn't all bad news.
The other story was the drop in the Scottish National Party as they lose 21 seats, or about a third of its representatives.
Now, Survation has done a new Scottish independence referendum poll and it confirms the trend. Yes voters have fallen to 43% from 46% while No voters are now up to 57% from 54%.
