There's still a minor risk for the pound as the last election results come in

Conservatives on course for a majority but it could still be close

By and large we're heading to a majority win for the Conservatives. There is still a little risk for the pound as they need 7 more seats from 16 results

It should be a done deal the way the results are looking but the market might not be totally satisfied until they cross that majority line

Even if they miss a deal should be easily done with other parties to carry the Cons into government but still it might give the quid a little wobble

Whatever happens this result will be settling for the market and by Monday we'll be back to moaning about how useless all the politicians and government are ;-)
