Tuesday is the big vote day
Brexiteers in May's government are planning to quit unless there are changes to the Brexit backstop, according to The Guardian.
"Mike Wood, the parliamentary private secretary (PPS) to the trade secretary, Liam Fox, said he would quit his post and join leave-supporting backbenchers unless changes were made to the backstop," they report.
The story says "more than a dozen" elected ministerial aides have met May in the past week to express concerns about the exit deal.
There's talk of a delay in the vote but so far May plans to put the deal to the test.
