Tokyo records 1,149 new daily virus cases today
The surge of infections in the Japanese capital is continuing and is not a good sign for how things are playing out to start Q3 for the economy.
A report by the Japan Times also seems to suggest that there has been little effect from the latest virus curbs in stopping foot traffic in Tokyo as of Monday.
