The results of the first ballot are out
Andrea Leadsom, Mark Harper, and Esther McVey failed to receive enough votes to proceed to the next round as they failed to meet the threshold of 17 votes.
Of note, BoJo's support has gotten a huge surge as he received 114 votes as opposed to the 84 votes that were publicly declared coming into the ballot. Jeremy Hunt looks to be the next closest contender but it's a major uphill task to overthrow BoJo at this point.
Also, with BoJo crossing over the 105 vote mark he's now pretty much a shoe-in to be part of the final two standing in the race.
