Daily thread to exchange ideas and to share your thoughts
Good day, everyone! Hope you're all doing well as we get things going here on the session today. It's been a decent start to the trading day but overall action remains largely muted as we continue to wait on the FOMC meeting tomorrow.
The yen is holding gains to start the day amid weaker Treasury yields and softer equities. That said, the moves aren't anything out of the ordinary as markets continue to bounce around ahead of the Fed.
Meanwhile, the euro is maintaining a modest advance in the European morning but large expiries around 1.1240-50 in EUR/USD is likely to keep price action limited today.
It's all about the countdown to tomorrow's FOMC meeting so expect more mixed moves over the next few sessions. What are your views on the market right now? Share your thoughts/ideas with the ForexLive community here.
