The wagons are rolling on the campaign trail in the run up to the Greek elections

Tsipras is making his latest stop on the election campaign and has hit Thessaloniki

He's said he is seeking a strong mandate to continue efforts and that Greece must abide with the terms of the deal with creditors

There has been talk of doing a deal with New Democracy if the elections don't produce a clear winner but first he wants an apology from ND leader Meirmarakis for all that his party have done previously

He adds that a return to the Drachma is not the way out of the crisis

The elections are due Sep 20th and will no doubt be full of twists and turns. Great from the entertainment factor for those of us looking in but it must be terrible for Greeks to be involved in yet again
