So, the International Monetary Fund has upgraded its forecasts for the Australian economy
Well, isn't that just peachy? Time to get bearish! :-D
IMF predicts Australia's economy will grow by 3.1% in 2017
- & by 3% in 2018
The most recent Australian Treasury forecast (from December 2016 is 2.75% for 2017-18 - Australian Treasury citing "detraction from mining investment eases")
The IMF forecasts are from their World Economic Outlook published overnight
Adam had the headlines here: IMF bumps 2017 global growth outlook
But he ignored Australia! The only save for him is he ignored Canada also ... so that's OK then ;-)
