The Times points out that confidence in U.K. banks has fallen so far that they now rank below those in Botswana. In a league table compiled by the World Economic Forum, British banks come in 44th, six places below Botswana in 38th. Only two years ago U.K. banks were considered the safest in the World. To make matters worse, the survey was compiled in the Spring, before the severity of the banking crisis became fully clear. Makes you proud, so very proud!!!
