President of the Confederation of British Industry Sir Mike Rake will today argue that businesses need to be "crystal clear that membership is in our national interest"
Adding that there are "no credible alternatives"
"The question is not whether the UK would survive outside of the EU but whether it would thrive"
But he will also call for the UK to increase its efforts to secure reform
"Reform will not happen overnight, but by working with our allies on an ambitious, yet achievable, agenda, we can make it a reality"
On Monday I reported the head of UK construction giant JCB saying companies should not fear an exit from the EU
The debate continues and will get more lively into a potential referendum next year
