UK June mortgage approvals have come in at 47,584, up from 44,169 in May, and pretty much exactly in line with the median forecast of 47,000. It’s the highest number of approvals since April 2008.
Mortgage lending came in at £0.343 bln, below the median forecast of £0.6 bln.
Consumer credit came in at £0.071 bln, below the median forecast of £0.3 bln.
Cable steady at 1.6380.
