–March House Prices Down 1.1% On Month; Down 2.3% On Year
LONDON (MNI) – UK house prices fell markedly in March, posting
their largest monthly fall since February 2009.
Land Registry data showed house prices fell 1.1% on the month to
stand down 2.3% on the year. The official Land Registry data highlighted
widespread falls in prices in the UK housing market.
London, which others surveys has found to be more resilient, saw
prices down 1.0% on the month.
