UK says that 560,000 people have signed up to be NHS volunteers

That is a very positive response in the UK

The government launched the initiative on Tuesday, hoping to recruit around 250,000 volunteers to help with the NHS to cope with the coronavirus outbreak. But as of today, that number has more than doubled in an overwhelmingly good response.

Let's hope that this does go some way in helping to limit the number of deaths from the virus outbreak in the country.
