Prime Minister Gordon Brown, speaking on Radio 3, in answer to a question whether the UK economy would appear brighter in a year’s time answered “Of course, because the injection of money into the economy is such and the cuts in interest rates are such and support that is being given to help people through these difficult times (is such) that it will have an effect.”
Brown added “I am not going to make predictions about time. But what I am saying is the more international cooperation we have, the more people do similar things to what we are doing, the quicker we will get through this difficulty.”
The market has taken great encouragement from the words of wisdom from our beloved leader and cable has soared. Um, er, what do you mean, infact it’s lower? Can’t wait for next election when we’ll be rid of good old Gordo!!!!
