I suspect the more difficult issues (IP, industrial policy etc.) will be can-kicked.
- US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, Chinese Vice Premier Liu He, U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer are big guns at the talks.
- Chinese President Xi will meet with Lighthizer and Mnuchin on Friday
Meanwhile, US President Trump said he could extend the deadline to reach a trade deal with China 9currently March1st) if talks make good progress.
