US DATA: ICSC sales for Sept 24 wk: “For the second consecutive
week retailers saw their weekly sales slip as consumers continued to
revert back to their conservative spending patterns this past week.
Overall for the week ending September 24, weekly retail sales fell
slightly by 0.2 percent, according to the ICSC-Goldman Sachs Weekly
Chain Store Sales Index. On a year-over-year basis, retail sales also
slowed but did remain positive at 2.7 percent.”
