The FT yesterday published an article highlighting a report from Goldman’s which says that US investors have piled more money into European equities than at any other time since 1977
Early signs of economic recovery and rising business confidence have restored the faith of US investors in Europe as hopes grow that markets can rally further on a wave of stronger earnings in the second half of the year.
All that spare cash really does seem to be heading across the pond, as highlighted by my wise and learned friend some time ago
And, of course, it’s all been helping the, at times, teflon-coated euro, along with ACB reserve diversification
