Choppy trade in EUR/USD continues with the market losing ground as the afternoon wears on. New York session lows at 1.2666 are coming into view and small stops from day traders are seen around the 1.2660 region ( a repeated stop-loss area after orders were tripped there overnight on the way to 1.2625…).
EUR/JPY is at fresh New York lows of 106.52 and EUR/CHF is just above all-time lows of 1.2878.
Shares, oil and bond yields are all trading softer. Look for greater downside of the S&P breaks 1040 support (and a short-covering bounce if it does not).
