US stocks open higher, but comes off a bit. Dow lags. Getting closer to all time highs

The Dow is down after open higher stalls

The US stocks opened higher, is still higher in the broader S&P and Nasdaq indices but the Dow is now in the red (after opening higher).

The snapshot now shows:

• S&P is up 5.33 points or 0.18% at 2912.39
• NASDAQ is up 36.3 points or 0.45% at 8036.52
• Dow industrial average is down 24 points or -0.09% at 26428.59 after opening higher in trading at 26501.02.

The NASDAQ index reached a high of 8052.395. That is getting closer to the all-time high at 8133.298.

For the S&P index, the high price today reached 2918.00. Its all-time high extended to 2940.91 back on September 21, 2018
