....and once again a move lower is erased.
US stocks are trading near session highs (or near them now after a race higher)
- The S&P reached a new high at 2829.03.
- The Nasdaq moved up to a new high of 7804.
For the Nasdaq the price moved above its 100 hour MA at 7798. Earlier in the day, the price extended above the 200 hour MA at 7712.50. For the Nasdaq it is currently up about 87 points or 1.12%.
Apple which crossed over the $1T market capitalization level is leading the charge. It is currently up 3.15% on the day at $207.83. The $207.04 was the magic level to take the market capitalization above the $1T level.
In other markets:
- spot gold is down $5.36 or -0.44% at $1210.75
- WTI crude oil futures trading up $1.30 or 1.92%
- US yields are lower. The two-year is lowered by -1.6 basis points. The 10 year is lower by -2.2 basis points. The 30 year is lowered by -1.4 basis points
