The USD is a little softer across the board as the Dow moves back above the 14,700 level and away from the day’s lows. The Dow was last at 14,705 amid a 14,672-14,719 range so far. The mood has been generally soft today with risk gently offered following the weaker than expected US durables good data.
Currencies have moved a little in the last hour with the EUR/USD and AUD/USD moving off earlier session lows but remaining relatively subdued. The EUR/USD was last at $1.3020 amid a $1.2955-1.3034 range while the AUD/USD was last $1.0269 amid a $1.0231-1.0296 range.
