Yep, it’s true that without our fanastic readers we wouldn’t be where we are right now, and we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts
But amongst the festive celebrations we now have the sad news that UK singing legend Joe Cocker has died of cancer aged 70
His classic version of this song is, imho, by far the best Beatles cover ever and he truly made it his own with this spellbinding performance at Woodstock
But the gas fitter from Sheffield had loads more in his armoury and leaves behind a wonderful legacy of work including You Are So Beautiful and Up Where We Belong.
