WHO may raise pandemic alert level to 4 or 5 on a 6 point scale

A World Health Organization spokesman tells Reuters that its pandemic alert level may be raised to 4 or 5 on a scale of one-to-six. It stands at a level 3 today.

Risk aversion may get a renewed lift from this new indicator. Who knows (no pun intended), this indicator may end up being more closely watched than ISM. We are all epidemiologists now.
