Will Spain call a snap election this weekend? (Or even sooner?)

Earlier this week we noted that calling a snap election in Spain was coming soon:

It appears likely PM Sanchez will call the snap election as early as Friday. If not then, watch out for a weekend announcement, but the money seems to be on Friday.

• Once an election is called it'll be held within two months
• April 28 mooted as the most likely date (earlier clashes with Easter)
