- The administration believes it strengthens its hand last week with a tentative trade accord with the EU
- The US has imposed 25% tariffs on $34B of China goods
- They are likely to delay tariffs on another $16B until next week
- The US is pursing a 10% tariff on $200B of other China imported goods
- Trump has gone as far as saying he would impose tariffs on all China goods into the US ($505B in total).
