High intensity protectionism has been largely contained, says the World Trade Organization, though there has been slippage toward restricting and distorting practices in the past three months. Even a small recovery in global demand could lead to a large rebound in trade volumes, the WTO said, in its Protectionism Report.
Reflation-traders will take comfort in the small recovery/big rebound view.
