USD/JPY is down from late NY levels, under 111.75 as I post. EUR, AUD and others a little lower (against the USD)
Taking yen crosses down a good few points.

… has been supportive of oil, and as a japan is a big oil importer its a negative for yen …. so natch it (yen that is) strengthens!
