Zapatero: Bank of Spain developing bank intervention protocol

Spains’ Prime Minister Zapatero says the Bank of Spain is developing a bank intervention protocol after it was forced to intervene to save Castilla La Mancha at the weekend.

The Prime Minister said “As a preventative policy for the financial system, which is solid and robust, the Bank of Spain is elaborating a protocol so it may have instruments to strengthen its intervention capacities.”
