European equities a touch higher at the open

A bit of catch up to the late rally in Wall Street yesterday

That was also the theme for European stocks yesterday, as investors are keeping concerns about surging energy prices and worries about the economic outlook to a minimum - for now at least. The overall risk mood is more measured and guarded though, with S&P 500 futures being down by around 0.2% currently.
