US futures are also keeping slightly higher, with S&P 500 futures up 12 points, or 0.3%, after having pared gains upon China's denial earlier here. It's still early in the day and the US jobs report is the main focus in trading before the week ends. As I said earlier, sometimes it is the hope that kills you.
