European indices closed before the Fed came into play, so this is very much just catching up to the drop from yesterday. The overall sentiment today remains more tepid with S&P 500 futures up just 4 points, or 0.1%, after having seen the cash market fall by 96 points, or 2.5%, in trading yesterday.
